Surf’s up dudes and dudettes! The name’s Crush! I just returned from the most epic surfing trip and was turtley stoked when my Turtle pals called me on my shell-phone and asked me to join the Tour de Turtles race. Not only am I determined to bring home the gold medal, I also want to raise awareness about a gnarly problem that sea turtles face-- light pollution. Bright lights from beachfront properties are especially harmful to sea turtles. That’s where the team at STC comes in. They are true experts in lighting! With the support from my epic fans and my tubular Turtle Team, I have no doubt we will sweep the awards ceremony and maybe even retrofit some properties along the way with turtle-friendly lighting!
