Hi friends, I’m Splash and I’m ready to make a big SPLASH for conservation by winning the Tour de Turtles race. I’ll also be spreading the word about a serious threat to beautiful hawksbills like me—illegal shell trade. Unfortunately, instead of just admiring me, some humans want to take my gorgeous shell and make it into art of their own, like jewelry, hair accessories or other trinkets. Even though this is illegal in most countries, it still happens so it’s up to you to keep an eye out and say no to products made out of real turtle shell. I sure hope you join me and my friends at the Four Seasons Nevis in spreading the word about the illegal shell trade and cheering me on in the Tour de Turtles race!
